About

I grew up in a suburb of Boise, Idaho surrounded by the stark beauty that is the desert. Four years after moving across the country, I am now a senior at Furman University studying for a B.A. in Studio Art with a Concentration in Graphic Design and Business Administration. Since taking my first graphic design class in college, I’ve loved exploring typography and color theory on my own. I find inspiration in nature and across all styles of artwork—nineteenth century French realism, Dutch genre painting, and twentieth century American realism are some of my favorites! In my free time, I enjoy playing intramural soccer and have recently had a refound joy in playing video games. (Sayonara Wild Hearts is delightfully designed and scored!)

I eventually want a career in graphic design, illustration, or another creative field. I hope you enjoy looking around my portfolio and don’t hesitate to contact me at @cbassart, Etsy, or LinkedIn!
