Landscapes of the Northwest

For the final project in my Graphic Design II class, our assignment was to create and print a 40+ image book about any subject we wanted. Thinking about the skills I wanted to develop with photo editing, I chose to use images taken by my mother throughout the past decade. She is an incredibly talented landscape photographer and I wanted to add my own perspective to her work. I researched techniques to create National Parks WPA style posters and taught myself how to photoshop the images to have that vintage, color-block attribute. Below is a gallery of images from my favorite pages of the final printed book. Further down is a digital copy of the final 56 page book.
